KUDOS for your captured visions and why you do it. I am passionate about our world and all its wonders. I can still feel that excitement to explore outside, never know what I will see. Last evening I had a Ruby Throated Hummingbird "flyby". It felt as though they were going to take my ear off. The three were chasing one another inside my carport and twisting up into the air, in reference to whose territory my firecracker bush belonged. My husband always asks me to put the insects down and quit playing in the dirt. He has to call me inside more than our 3 children. Once, I had forgotten what it felt like to be engulfed in something you truly love. I had found myself so busy in the routine of my daily chores, I had to tell myself to breath. After one finds that amazing feeling that we all so strongly shared as a child; one never wants to let it go. That is what I feel when I walk out that door, it is my fountain of youth. I find true peace and spirituality in nature. Your pictures should be on bill boards reminding us and our children what we all so desperately need to save. I too have taken similar photos but not to your caliber. My favorite, of my work, is of a blue dragonfly while he was chewing on a house fly. He had his head tilted and was looking at me while he perched on my zinnias. I have a long way to go in photography but love the practice. I must say that you have a great talent and I thank you for allowing me to see through your eyes.
